New for winter 2014-15 ski season, the Super Chatel and Linga ski areas will be directly linked by two new express chairlifts. This will reposition Chatel at the centre of the Portes du Soleil ski area and enormously increase ski access from the apartment via the Super Chatel gondola, which is 350m walk from the apartment.
From December 2014, as well as the Super-Chatel, Morgins and Torgon ski areas, skiers will be able to access Linga, Pre-la-Joux, Avoriaz and beyond, from the Super Chatel gondola, without taking their skis off. Previously, Linga and Pre-la-Joux were accessible via a free bus navette service, which will still run from the village centre, 150m walk from the apartment.
